
The girl students put up a strong performance by bagging all the five top ranks. All the topper were from the humanities group. Mehaka, student of BMC Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana and Maninder Kaur of GTB Khalsa Senior Secondary School Malout jointly topped in the examination by securing 96.89 per cent marks.
Charanpreet Kaur of Sanmati Vimal Jain School, Jagraon stood second in the state by securing 96.44 per cent marks. Third position is bagged by Jyoti Bansal of Sanmati Vimal Jain School, Jagraon, who has secured 96.22 percentage marks. The minister added that in 2013 the pass percentage of the students is more than that of 2012 due to the hard work of the students and education department officials.
